The eponymous sneaker line uses high-quality Ortholite insoles for maximum support and durability. Water resistant Clarino leather is used for the upper, and laser-cutting technique is applied to the sides for breathability and comfort. As a nod to the show’s famous nametag game, colorful velcro characters can be attached to the front of the sneaker for personalization.
Created as a man-made leader in 1964, Clarino is a light and tough material that also has water resistant qualities. The material started its development in 1961 with research beginning to find a new fiber that consisted of blending two types of polymers. It took many months of testing and quality checks before Clarino was officially available, but now the brand is internationally recognized as a premium leather alternative.
Ortholite offers high quality insoles to support the foot. Using a recycled rubber-based and polyurethane formula, the insole offers cushion and durability. Additional benefits include moisture management and antimicrobial protection. The insoles are also one of the only that are washable. Ortholite is focused on creating sustainable products that have less environmental impact.
